The District Sessions Court at Karachi has issued Notices to Tohfay Pakistan (Pvt) Limited along with its Chief Executive Officer and other Shareholders on behalf of our Client.
JA Legal Partner, Barrister Umair Usman acted on behalf of our Client and filed a Suit for Declaration, Direction, Recovery, Damages and Interest against M/s. Tohfay Pakistan (Pvt) Limited along with its Chief Executive Officer and other Shareholders. By way of background, our Client signed a Profit-sharing Agreement with Tohfay Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, whereby he invested a significant sum of money in 2013 on the understanding that he shall be liable to receive a profit every month.
However, a period of eight years went by and neither was our Client paid any profit nor any financial documents were provided to him and hence in perusal of his legal/constitutional/contractual rights the instant case has been filed.
