The Divisional Bench of the Sindh High Court passed an ad-interim stay order on 24.02.2022, restraining the Government of Sindh, including its Land Utilization Department, the concerned Mukhtiarkar, Deputy Commissioner (Quaidabad), and the concerned SHO, from taking any coercive action against our Client or its land. The Client was represented by JA Legal Founding Partner, Barrister Junaid Ahmed, who successfully secured relief protecting the Client’s property and legal rights.
By way of background, the Client filed a Constitutional Petition through our Firm after being aggrieved by the malafide and unlawful actions of the Respondents, who attempted to deprive and dispossess the Client of its property (measuring 8.00 acres situated in Gadap, Karachi), despite the land having been duly leased by the Government of Sindh for the purpose of poultry farming.
