The Sindh High Court on 11.10.2021 passed an ad-interim stay order restraining Shell Pakistan from creating any third-party interest and/or attempting to evict the Plaintiffs forcibly from the land/Petrol Station. The Plaintiffs were represented by JA Legal Founders Barrister Junaid Ahmed and Barrister Umair Usman to pursue the matter before the competent forums.
By way of background, the Plaintiffs are the lawful owners of the immovable property and, at the same time, authorized dealers of Shell Pakistan. However, the Defendant defaulted on various contractual obligations and attempted to unlawfully dispossess the Plaintiffs. Consequently, the High Court passed the restraining order against Shell Pakistan and issued notices for 02.11.2021.
