The Sindh High Court Honorable Mr. Justice Shafi Siddiqi has reserved the judgment in relation to an officer’s promotion issue of the Trading Corporation of Pakistan. By way of background, our Client’s promotion has been deferred on the ground that disciplinary proceedings are pending against our Client, although the last show-cause notice issued by the Trading Corporation of Pakistan was suspended by the Sindh High Court in December 2019.
In the current round of litigation, again JA Legal Founding Partner Barrister Junaid Ahmed led the final arguments on behalf of the officer who has been deferred from promotion, and Barrister Fayaz Metlo argued on behalf of the Trading Corporation of Pakistan.
