The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) has filed a Civil Suit before the Sindh High Court in Karachi. The CBC seeks to recover outstanding dues along with damages both from occupants (including Shell Pakistan Limited and the Dealer) since the principle lease has expired, yet the Defendants continue to occupy the property and operate the petrol station.
On May 31, 2023, the Founding Partner of our firm, Barrister Junaid Ahmed, obtained an ad-interim restraining order. This order restrains the Defendants, including Shell Pakistan Limited and the Dealer, from creating any third-party interest in the property that is the subject of the ongoing lawsuit.
