The Sindh High Court on 11.03.2022 announced the detailed order authored by Mr. Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui, that promotion of an officer/Plaintiff cannot be deferred on the grounds of any pending disciplinary and/or departmental proceedings, and the High Court further directed Trading Corporation of Pakistan (‘TCP’) to release the financial bonus of the officer/Plaintiff within two(2) weeks which are withheld since 2017. The officer was represented by JA Legal firm’s Founding Partner, Barrister Junaid Ahmed in his second round of litigation. Initially, the officer, through the same Counsel, suspended the illicit show-cause notice issued by TCP.
